Council

Where policy meets purpose

An independent nonprofit forum dedicated to ethical economic governance, transatlantic dialogue, and the appointment of leaders committed to long-term impact.

The council

An Independent Voice for Responsible Economic Leadership

The Council is the nonprofit heart of the Senate of Economy USA. Non-partisan and evidence-based, it serves as a forum where business leaders, policymakers, academics, and civic voices come together to advance policy that works — for businesses, for communities, and for the long term.

We don’t advocate for any political party. We advocate for better outcomes. Our work spans policy research, public engagement, international delegations, and the appointment of senators and representatives committed to principled economic leadership.

What we do

Four Pillars of Council Work

Policy & Advisory

We provide independent, evidence-based recommendations on innovation, taxation, trade, workforce development, technology, and sustainability. Our recommendations are non-partisan and built for the long term — beyond election cycles.

Transatlantic Dialogue

We facilitate structured exchange between European and American economic leaders — creating the conversations that shape tomorrow’s policy and partnerships. From formal delegations to working groups, we build bridges that matter.

Public Engagement & Events

Through conferences, forums, and delegations, we create space for meaningful public dialogue on the economic issues that shape our communities. Our annual Leadership Conference brings together the most important voices in ethical economic leadership.

Senator & Representative Appointments

We appoint senators and representatives — high-integrity leaders from government, business, and civil society — who carry the Senate of Economy’s mission into their fields and communities. Each appointment is a commitment to principled leadership.

Our senators & representatives

distinguished leaders
